7 artists we love | inspiration

My connection to nature and the experiences I have outdoors are often beyond words. It's a feeling within my body. It touches deeper layers of my being and soul. Certain artists can visualize exactly that, and I would like to introduce them to you in this article.



1. Rithika Merchant - Artistic Fusion of Mythology and Science


Rithika Merchant is a visual artist from Mumbai, India and is known for her diverse artistic practice that includes painting, drawing, textiles and installations. Her work explores mythology, science and speculative fiction. She creates artworks that echo our past while depicting new worlds.


She expresses man's connection to nature and its transformative power through organic forms, vibrant colors and mythological motifs. Rithika Merchant reflects on the spiritual dimension of nature and emphasizes the importance of harmony and balance in our relationship with the natural world. She also explores themes of identity, history and spirituality. Her paintings and collages are created by combining watercolor and paper cut-outs, inspired by old botanical prints and folk art.



2. Jackson Gore Earth - Interconnectivity of the Earth through the Earth


With the guiding principle "Restoring Kinship to Earth through Earth", the artist Jackson Gore finds Earth's existence and form in himself. He interweaves visions and words in an attempt to bring the spirit of all things to life. Ultimately, this should lead to a connection with nature, ourselves and the earth with greater mindfulness. In multidisciplinary creative works such as audio, photography, video, painting, digital art and more, he delves into realms beyond forms.


The artist discovers the interconnectivity of things and expresses his experiences and explorations with matter and spirit. His statements on art bring closer his attitude as an artist that inspires Kailo:

3. Isobel Harvey - Playful exploration of natural beauty


British artist Isobel Harvey specializes in creating illustrations and artwork with a focus on animals, landscapes and nature. Her subjects are a loving depiction of animals in natural settings, often with a playful or dreamy atmosphere. Harvey also explores the beauty and diversity of the natural world by incorporating landscapes and seasonal elements into her work.


Through her artwork, she aims to create a connection to nature and encourage viewers to appreciate the beauty and value of the environment. Her work is characterized by a detailed and vibrant representation, using various techniques such as watercolor, ink and digital media.



4. Meagan Boyd - Transcendent worlds and archetypal tales


The artwork of Meagan Boyd, an American artist, explores artistic boundaries in her enchanting creations. In her often surreal and symbolic works, she explores the relationship between man and nature and themes such as identity and transience. She skillfully reconstructs ancient narratives and breathes new life into archetypal figures that embody the collective unconscious. These personal mythologies do not only reason with universal truths, but also serve as a fascinating mirror in which viewers can reflect on their own experiences.


She works in a variety of media including painting, installation and photography, integrating natural elements and organic materials such as plants, earth and clay into her work to create an even deeper connection to the environment and the human experience.



5. Carla Cervantes Caro - Movement as art


Carla Cervantes Caro describes herself as a "movement designer" and creates art through movement. Her work is a fusion of dance, design and fashion. As a creative spirit, she strives to convey beauty, tell stories and connect with the audience. She dances and choreographs in the style of physical and delicate floor work, which combines influences from contemporary dance and breakdance. The self-taught dancer is known for her ability to show new perspectives through images and movement. Since the beginning of her career, she has been committed to breaking gender roles and stereotypes.




6. Tino Rodriguez - Magic and Realism in detail


Tino Rodriguez is a contemporary artist known for his surrealist paintings and drawings. His works are characterized by magical realism and mythological motifs and show complex, detailed depictions of fantastic worlds and beings. His works focus on fantastic worlds and beings that are brought to life through complex depictions.
